At the Butchers Box Company we aren’t happy until our meat filled box is delivered to your door.
How will my Butchers Meat Box arrive?
Unlike some organisations our boxes are delivered on refrigerated vans. This keeps them at temperature and fresh right up until we deliver to your door. From there our temperature controlled recyclable boxes with ice packs keep your food chilled for up to another 24 hours if unopened. During the delivery process the ice packs may melt; however, we test our packaging to ensure the minimum chill time doesn’t change.
Do I have to be in to receive my delivery?
A big plus point of the Butchers Box Company is you don’t have to be home when we deliver. We run our very own courier service who are able to leave your box in a safe place as specified by you under ‘Delivery instructions’. It is important to note as we deliver perishable goods, we are unable to redirect a box once it has left the distribution centre.
What is the delivery charge?
We charge a flat fee for delivery, £4.50 for delivery Thursday-Sunday.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver across Warwickshire and the Midlands on set days. There is a link on the checkout page to check whether your postcode is within our delivery radius.
When do you deliver?
Our deliveries are scheduled for Thursday to Sunday every week, please select your preferred day from the drop down menu.
Can I choose a delivery time?
We don’t currently offer the option of selecting a delivery slot/time. You’ll receive a delivery notification via text or email on the day of your delivery. We also take delivery instructions if you’re not home when we’re due to deliver.
How is the meat packaged?
All our meats are cut to order, vac packed and blast chilled, keeping everything fresh and tasting great. We offer a double piece of mind, as not only is your meat packed in chilled boxes, they are delivered on our own refrigerated vans, maintaining temperature for up to 24hours after delivery. It is important that all meat products should be refrigerated or frozen as soon as you open your consignment.
We test all our vans and packaging temperatures regularly to ensure we continue to offer the best end product for our customers.
Can the boxes be recycled?
Our cardboard boxes are FSC certified and can be put in your regular household recycling. The ice packs are also recyclable and are filled with purified water, although we find these are worth keeping in the freezer for picnic bags (or in our house hold bumps and scrapes)
What if I live outside the delivery area?
We are hoping to launch nationwide delivery towards the end of 2020
What is the cut off for this week's delivery?
In order for us to process your order correctly we have a cut off point for delivery. Orders for the same week must be placed by Wednesday 2pm.
